ABOUT US
India East Province was bifurcated from North East Province, Patna on 02 February 2019. The Province has its Provincial House in Siliguri. The new Province now consists of 21 communities covering West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam and Arunachal Pradesh. The sisters of the Province are engaged mainly in education, medical and social ministries. At present 122 Sisters are working in 7 dioceses rendering our services to remote areas in collaboration with different dioceses and other religious institutions.
OUR CHARISM
The source of our Charism lies in the compassionate love of God, who emptied himself in Christ Jesus even to the point of dying on a cross (Phil.2:7-8). This love deeply affected St. Francis and our Founders and urged them to take concrete action. It also inspires us to make this love visible to others in our time and world.

OUR APOSTOLATES
Our sisters in all the 21 communities are engaged in education, health & socio-pastoral apostolates in all the 8 dioceses of Bagdogra, Darjeeling-Sikkim, Guwahati, Itanagar, Jalpaiguri, Kolkata, Raigunj and Tezpur.
