Mamring is a remote village under the Kurseong sub-division in Darjeeling District of the State of West Bengal. Darjeeling Hills, is said to be one of the most wonderful creations of God. The breath taking view of Kanchenjunga and the cheerful faces of the local people make you smile with the nature.
Holy Cross community was founded in Mamring in the year 1990 on 17th November with a vision of educating the local children and to cater to the medical needs of the people. 04 sisters are involved in the mission of compassion through primary school, health care and collaboration with NGO’s and Government organizations, environmental protection, directing the individuals towards sustainable development, harmonious earth and alleviation of poverty.
