Amsoi is a village in the district of Naogaon, in the state of Assam. The people of Amsoi are of different tribes and races. Most of the residents were brought to the place by the Britishers to work in the tea gardens.
Holy Cross community was founded on 21st September, 1999 on the invitation of the then Archbishop of Guwahati, Rt. Rev. Bishop Thomas Menamparampil. The original purpose was to conduct women’s residential training programs and education of the poor children of the area, in collaboration with the archdiocese.
At present there are 03 sisters engaged in the collaboration mission.
